How to Choose by Weather Resistance

Anker outdoor cameras are built to handle the elements. When choosing a camera, look for the IP (Ingress Protection) rating on the product page — the higher the second digit, the stronger the water resistance:

  • Rain & light splashing — Look for IP65 or above. Suitable for most Nordic weather conditions including rain and snow.
  • Heavy rain & exposed locations — Look for IP66 or above. Better suited for open areas with no overhead cover.
  • Extreme conditions — Look for IP67 if the camera may be exposed to standing water or flooding.

Night Vision: Color vs. Infrared
